Terms of Service

These are the terms for using CCStats ("we", "us"), a stats platform for cricket clubs. By creating a club on CCStats, you're agreeing to these terms. If anything here isn't clear, email ccstatscricket@gmail.com before you sign up and we'll talk it through.

Your account

You need to be old enough to enter into a contract in your country to create a club. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for anything that happens under your account, including anyone you add as a co-admin. Let us know straight away if you think someone's got unauthorised access.

Plans & billing

• Subscriptions are billed in advance, either monthly or annually, via Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Plans and prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. We'll give reasonable notice by email before any price change takes effect for existing subscribers.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand.
• You can cancel anytime from your club's billing settings, and there's no lock-in contract. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access for the rest of the period you've already paid for.
• Payments are non-refundable, including for partial periods, except where required by law.
• The optional data-migration service is a separate one-off arrangement agreed directly with you before any work starts. It's not part of your subscription and isn't covered by these billing terms.

What happens if you don't renew

Your club's public page goes offline until you renew, but your data isn't deleted. You can download a full CSV of your stats at any time from Settings, whether or not your subscription is active. If you'd like your data permanently deleted instead of just hidden, email us and we'll do it.

Your data, your content

Your club owns the player and match data you enter or import. You're responsible for making sure you're entitled to publish it, including having a proper basis for any junior players' data, and for its accuracy. We can remove content that breaches these terms or the law, or that we're asked to remove by a rights holder.

Acceptable use

Don't use CCStats to:

• Publish anything illegal, defamatory, or that you don't have the right to share.
• Try to access another club's locked or private data without permission.
• Scrape, resell, or bulk-extract data from the site beyond the CSV export we provide for your own club.
• Interfere with the service's normal operation, or attempt to bypass plan limits or billing.

We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, or that don't pay.

Scorecard imports

Our PlayHQ and Play-Cricket import features pull publicly available scorecard data from those platforms' own sites on your instruction. CCStats isn't affiliated with or endorsed by PlayHQ, Play-Cricket, the ECB, or any cricket governing body, and we're not responsible for the accuracy of data either platform provides, or for either feature continuing to work if that platform changes how its data is published.

Service availability

We aim to keep CCStats running reliably, but we don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may need to take it down for maintenance or updates from time to time. CCStats is provided "as is", without warranties beyond what the law requires.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim relating to CCStats is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of data you haven't backed up, or loss arising from a third-party service (like PlayHQ, Play-Cricket, or Stripe) being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for fraud.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. If a change is material, we'll let existing subscribers know by email. Continuing to use CCStats after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and any dispute will be handled by the Scottish courts.
